We aim to make our camps/community outreaches as safe & enjoyable as possible and consequently we require certain qualifications for each event. SU Qld currently requires that at least one member (preferably 2 - one male, one female) for each camp/community outreach have a Senior First Aid Certificate. We recognise the level of commitment that SU Qld Volunteers already bring to their camps/community outreaches and we want to aid this process in any way possible.
Consequently, Eric Wilson, a long time supporter of SU QLD and First Aid Trainer, has kindly offered his services on a volunteer basis to train SU Qld Volunteers at a cost for materials only. This training will be offered once a semester to all SU Qld Volunteers.
