SU 150th Anniversary:
Thanksgiving Celebration

Saturday, August 5
12:30pm for 12:45pm – 4:00pm
Creek Road Presbyterian Church

It is through the love of the Scripture and the sharing of the Gospel message that SU as an organization was born 150 years ago. It is this mission that has enabled us to work side by side with the global Church and spread God’s message of love to all.

We share a rich heritage. Many have invested their lives through SU Qld for the sake of Aussie children and young people.  Let’s honour our past, celebrate our heritage, and face the future with expectation!  All are welcome.

Featuring

150 Rev Mark Coleridge

The Most Rev Mark Coleridge
Catholic Archbishop of Brisbane

In April 2012, Archbishop Coleridge was appointed as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Brisbane, (which also comprises the suffragan dioceses of Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns). In reflecting upon his four decades as a priest and a Bishop, Archbishop Coleridge has noted that almost nothing had turned out as he expected, but invariably events had turned out better than they would have had he planned them himself. As he has been moved to reflect “Jesus often surprises, but he never disappoints.”
