(scriptureunion.org.au)SUA is a charitable 'limited by guarantee' not-for-profit organisation comprising more than 900 staff and thousands of volunteers, working with churches and serving in communities in all states and territories across Australia. All SUA staff and volunteers are empowered and equipped to champion a child safe culture and are committed to the highest standards of safety and care in our work with children, young people and families.  SUA in the Northern TerritoryIn the Northern Territory, we are seeking to appoint a part-time (3 days per week) Ministry Catalyst to develop and sustain ministry opportunities in Alice Springs and the surrounding areas.This role can be undertaken as a stand-alone role or there is the possibility of combining this position with a School Chaplain role in the area.  There are some additional selection requirements for the School Chaplain role so this combination of roles can be discussed further with shortlisted applicants.As a Ministry Catalyst, you will engage with children’s and youth ministers/pastors, churches and local Christian communities to connect them with SUA programs.  In this role, your objective will be to grow SUA and local church ministry and mission in Alice Springs and its surrounding communities.Our ideal candidate will have:Experience working within a Christian setting or other not-for-profit organisation;Qualifications or extensive experience in Christian ministry or theology or a related field;Experience in designing and delivering camps and holiday programs for children and youth;Demonstrated success in initiating and maintaining stakeholder relationships; andExperience working with First Nations people and remote communities (highly regarded).ApplicationsIn order to be considered for this role, please complete your application including the following:Cover Letter – Clearly outlining how you meet the role requirements for our ideal candidate listed above, including your cultural fit within SUA.
