Chaplaincy applications now open!
Chaplains provide social, emotional, and spiritual support to school communities. They are in the prevention and support business, helping students find a better way to deal with life’s issues. They provide a listening ear and a caring presence in the school, available for all students, staff, and families.
SU Chaplaincy models the compassion and unconditional love demonstrated and taught by Jesus, as recorded in the Bible. Chaplains will be sensitive to, respectful of, and available to all regardless of beliefs or religious affiliations.
Federal Funding renewed!
The Australian Government has announced the good news that they would continue its commitment to fund the National School Chaplaincy Programme (NSCP) of $247million over four years through to 2022. This is a great outcome for the chaplaincy program!
Scripture Union Australia Ministries Limited currently has up to 50 vacancies to fill, including positions in Rural and Remote areas across Queensland! Are you a teacher or pastor, youth leader or volunteer who would love to take up the challenge to work with youth to bring hope!
